My independent writing task - Worst Mistake

Worst Mistake

My worst mistake I have ever did was when I broke my neighbor's window. My brother and I were playing soccer outside. We were trying to score a goal. We used our shoes for the goal’s. After my brother had a turn, it was my turn. I kicked the ball so hard it went up so high and my neighbor’s window broke. I felt scared and nervous. My brother and I ran to our house so fast.

When a lady came out to look at the broken window I knew I was in trouble. The lady doesn’t know who broke the window. She called the novis to get a new window. I told my parents that I broke our neighbor's window. My parents was very angry and went out to tell that It was me that broke her window. So my parents had to pay for the window. My brother and I had to come out to say sorry. After that I had to play soccer with my brother carefully.

I would recommend this book to: Teagan because he was born on the exact same day when this happened. I think he will like this book because its a really interesting book. Its about a boy who survived from a plane that crashed into a building, and it wasn't an accident, but a bad guy did it on purpose. The boy was really closed to the building, but lucky that the boy survived.

This is the distance from Niue to Auckland and Thailand To Auckland that I did with Tyler. The difference is that Thailand is 7199 more further than Niue.

Thai New Year (Food in my culture)

Thai New Year

My family and I celebrate Thai New Year every year. Thai New Year is called Songkran. We would go to the temple to celebrate Thai New Year, everyone has to bring Thai food to the temple. There would be a lot of Thai food to eat. My family would always bring Sticky Rice and  Som Tam. Some people would bring some spare  clothes.

They bring spare clothes because people would be splashing water on to each other, that’s a way of celebrating Thai New Year. Every time when it’s Thai New Year I would always get wet. After they  played some people would go and get changed and go eat their lunch. Some people leave their wet clothes on so they can play after again.

I would go and eat my breakfast first. For my breakfast I eat Pad Thai. After I eat my breakfast I would go and play. After I play I would go and get changed and go and eat my lunch. For lunch I eat Sum Tam and Sticky Rice. Sum Tam is really spicy and it’s also really yummy. After I eat I would go and have a rest.

After lunch my family and I would pack up to go home. Thai New Year is really fun for me. I go to Thai Temple every year for Thai New Year. Most of the time I would always bring Sum Tam and sticky rice, because it’s one of my favourite foods.

Bee Movie

Bee movie is a really fun movie, it’s a cartoon movie. This movie is for any age to watch. There is one bee who graduated from college and had to choose one job. If he chooses a job he has to work for that job forever.

This movie is also a good example for everyone to look after the world, to look after the plants and trees. He didn’t like the way that he had to work the same job for ever. On a special trip outside the hive, Barry saw a girl named Vanessa. Barry was getting attacked by a man but then Vanessa came and help Barry, Barry was now safe. Barry started to like Vanessa because she saved his life.

All the bees wanted people not to sell their honey anymore. There was actually a rule to all the bees, that they can’t talk to humans but the only bee that talked to a human was Barry.  After all the humans understand that it was not good to kill the bees, so they started to not kill bees.

I like the movie because it is a really good example to people to look after the world and to look after the plants and trees.
