This is my photo at trip and this is my group we had lots a fun and learnt something new and they showed us the games that they play back in the olden days and they showed us the toys that they play back in the olden day and then we went in to a school it is very old its the olden day school it was very cool we have to sit up and we can't talk.

Dear Mrs Hallam, Mrs White and Mrs Hill.

Thank you for having us at Howick Historical Village. Thank you for showing us the toys and the games and teaching us.  We had lots of fun and I learnt lots of things when I was at Howick Historical Village.  I enjoyed when I was there. Thank you Mrs Hill for showing the games they played 100s years ago, my favourite game was the quoits.  Thank you Mrs Hallam for showing us the toys it was fun seeing what kids used to play with. Thank you Mrs White for teaching us like they used to 100 years ago. I would definitely listen and sit up straight if I was in your class back then. I had a really good day and I hope that I can go there again.

1900: They have to wear dunce cap.  You not allowed to be married. You have to go home and read the bible. Your skirt isn’t allowed to be over you knees. If you disrespectful you have to put your nose in a circle on the board for the punishment. Teachers are not allowed to go to the ice cream shop. The boys have to go to the toilet outside. Boys grabbed girls hair and dabbed it in the ink. Youre not allowed to wear bright colours. Youre not allowed to be tardy. You must be home between 8pm to 6am unless. You had to use a stylus to write with. You are not to keep company with men. You may not smoke cigarettes. You may not travel beyond the city limits unless you have permission of the chairman of the school board.       2013	What happens now and why? How does this differ from the past and why? What is causing the changes and why? What might happen in the future?                                                                       What do you want to happen in the future and why?	If you be naughty you’ll have to put your head on a circle on the board. When you are late you have to write lines. if your not paying attention you will stay in for lunch. If you are talking or disrespecting you have to stand at the corner of the classroom. you get milk instead of fruit. you had to sit on wood chairs. There was Blackboard a instead of whiteboard. When you don’t sit up you get a ruler back straightener.

Reflecting and Goal Setting

Term 2-3

Reading: This term I learnt: how to read the words clearly. My reading goal for Term 3 is: To know the meaning of the word that I'm reading. To achieve my goal: I will need to know the meaning of the words that I'm reading.

Writing: This term I learnt: to find information of agent of change. My writing goal for Term 3: is to write a sentence that does make sense. To achieve my goal: I will need to make a sentence longer and it has to make sense.

Maths: This term I learnt: how to work out percentages and understanding them. My maths goal for Term 3: is to know how to do division . To achieve my goal: I will need to know my timetables much better.

Personal: This term I need to: talk louder when I'm presenting something up in front of the class. My personal goal for Term 3: is to not be shy and to talk louder when I'm presenting something. To achieve my goal: I will need to be strong, relaxed and have more confidence in myself.

This is my Goal settings. I have done this because so I can remember what I had learnt and what do I have to work on and what i have to do better in next term.

This is my Floor planner by Andre

This is my Floor planner that I did of Room 9. It has two netbook cupboards at the bottom left corner of the room. There are three computers on the right wall which is at the front of the classroom. There are four groups of four tables in the middle of the classroom. There is a teachers desk by the window near the front of the classroom there is a cupboard behind the teachers desk. The art shelf and sink is at the  back of the room and there is a book case and a maths shelf on the right hand side of the room. I have a 2d view and a 3d view of our classroom so it is easy to see how it is set out. To see the 3d view you need to click the 3d button in the top right hand corner.
