Eastern Beach Recount
When I stepped off the bus, the beach looked liked it was calling me but we had to sit on the ground and listen to Mr Johnston first. He was telling us something important so that we stayed safe. After he finished we started playing. There were a lot of things to play like cricket, soccer and volleyball. The year 7 and 8 students went kayaking. I was so excited I couldn’t wait for my turn. There were four groups, Group A, B, C and D.

After he finished we started playing. There were a lot of things to play like cricket, soccer and volleyball. The year 7 and 8 students went kayaking. I was so excited I couldn’t wait for my turn. The first group went kayaking while the other groups played anything they wanted to, it was so much fun. When the first group finished they went swimming. Everyone was so excited. When year 7 and 8 was kayaking someone accidentally tipped out. All of the kayaking group was laughing and it looked like the kayak was laughing too.
Then the next group had their turn on the kayaks while the first group went swimming. After all the groups had been kayaking we were told we were going back soon. We got changed and sat on the ground in our class lines ready to listen to the teachers.
On the way home we were so tired. The bus ride back was much quieter than the first one. Everyone had a fun and exciting day.
